tat tvam asi
shvetaketo iti bhuya eva ma bhagavan vijnapayatv iti tatha somyeti hovaca
Chandogja-upanisad 6.8.7.
Atman (self or soul) is not different from Brahman (the Being beyond space and time, the consciousness and energy permeating us all). Everything dwells in It, nothing exists outside of It. It is the source of all existence, It is the existence itself. You are That too.
Meaning of the mantra: You can neither separate nor stand apart from It (tat). Everything emanates from It (Tat), including you. Whenever you call yourself by name, address others or name things, you always talk about It (Tat or the Soul). All shapes and forms reside within It, none can be separated from It. It (Tat) is the essence of the whole universe, It is the Self of every being, and this Atman or Soul is the Truth (Satyam). Therefore, you are That too (Tat tvam asi).

MANTRAS FEATURING ON MANTRA SADHANA ALBUM
MANTRASOUND-7
AHAM BRAHMASMI MANTRA - THE MANTRA OF BRAHMAN-SOUL CONSCIOUSNESS
ahaṁ brahmāsmī
Translation: I am Brahman, I am the Absolute (based on the translation of Attila Bakos).
Meaning: Those who know that they are Brahman, a drop in the Ocean of Consciousness, become one with the universe. Those who are aware of their true Self, which belongs to God and ultimately is identical with God, have already experienced that they are a part of the universe (based on the translation of Marianna Havasi).
The mantra ahaṁ brahmāsmī is from Brihadaranyaka Upanishad 1.4.10:

Translation of the Sanskrit verse: Essentially this self (perceived in the body) is Brahman, therefore it can know itself only as ‘I am Brahman’. It is the source of creation (of the universe), and those gods who have realized their true selves, have become Brahman, just like sages among people. The sage Vamadeva knew he was Brahman—’I was Manu and the Sun.’ Anyone who knows It similarly (the Brahman), says, ’I am Brahman’, and becomes one with the universe. Not even the gods can prevent them from becoming the universe, for they become their Self. On the contrary, those who worship gods they consider separate from themselves are ignorant and are gods’ animals. Just as numberless animals serve men, every man serves the gods. Losing one animal is bothersome enough, let alone losing many of them. Hence the gods are not happy when a man realizes his true Self (Atman).
Brihadaranyaka Upaishad, 1.4.10 (based on the translation of Attila Bakos)

Brahmana priests recited this mantra during Vedic fire ceremonies in certain traditions, so that with the help of the magical force of fire the sublimated prayer would reach a higher level of consciousness (based on the translation of Judit Eszter Bakos | Virinchi Shakti).
